Vincent Caruso — Owner, Caruso Accounting LLC

Vincent Caruso is the owner of Caruso Accounting LLC, a public accounting firm dedicated to providing quality tax and accounting services and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Vincent earned his degree in Accounting from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. While attending college full time, he worked diligently to build a strong foundation in accounting and taxation. After graduation, he began his career in public accounting, gaining valuable experience with CPA firms in Manhattan and Long Island. Throughout his career, Vincent has held positions including Staff Accountant, Tax Associate, Senior Tax Accountant, and Tax Manager, while simultaneously operating Caruso Accounting on a part-time basis. These experiences provided him with a broad understanding of individual and business taxation, accounting, tax planning, and client representation.

Vincent is an Enrolled Agent (EA) licensed by the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents are federally authorized tax practitioners who have demonstrated extensive knowledge of individual and business taxation and are qualified to represent taxpayers before the IRS. This credential reflects Vincent's commitment to maintaining a high level of expertise in the tax profession.

Caruso Accounting LLC is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). Through his involvement with the NYSSCPA, Vincent serves on the Tax Committee for Individuals and Corporations, allowing him to remain engaged with developments and issues affecting today's tax professionals and taxpayers.

As the firm's owner, Vincent takes a hands-on approach to serving his clients. He is committed to staying current with changes in tax law and applying his experience in public accounting, tax preparation, planning, and the CPA examination process to help clients make informed financial decisions. He works closely with individuals and businesses to develop tax planning strategies, prepare projections, and identify opportunities to improve their overall financial position.

Vincent takes pride in being a hardworking, self-made professional who genuinely enjoys helping his clients succeed. His personal approach, combined with his professional experience and continued commitment to education, enables him to provide personalized guidance tailored to each client's unique financial circumstances.

Outside of accounting, Vincent enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. His interests include traveling, being outdoors, Skiing, golf, traveling/vacationing, listening to music, fitness, Mixed Martial Arts, home improvement, and drumming and percussion. He is also actively involved in Italian American organizations, including the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, and Archimede Roma Lodge No. 854 F.&A.M., New York.

Michael Caruso-Staff Accountant

Michael Caruso joined the team in 2020 as Staff Accountant. His professional experience is in Accounting and Finance. Michael graduated from Queens College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He has a specialized knowledge of Financial Statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Since college, Michael has held positions at various NY Colleges and Universities as Financial Assistant and Assistant Director of Financial Services, where he gained his working experience in Finance and Accounting.
